Hi friends! I tried several recipes for peanut butter cookies from the first reception of the original recipe. One thing I like about this recipe is that peanut butter is two times more than butter. I firmly believe that peanut butter should not share the spotlight with the butter in a cookie that is intended to be a cracker with peanut butter!
I also like the addition of chocolate chips and peanut butter and roll the dough in sugar before baking. This creates a slightly crunchy exterior that complements the delicate texture of the interior perfectly! As my experience in the bakery grew, he began to perfect the recipe original every time I did and I am happy to say I am changing over.
It is now beyond my expectations of what peanut butter cookies should be. I know that everyone has a different idea about their perfect cookie so that they cannot be your cup of tea, but I suggest at least try them. I make these often and every time I take them somewhere people comment on their wonderful light texture and great flavor of peanut butter.
