The sympathetic system is responsible for a person's weight

Scientists and nutritionists conducted an unusual experiment. For three months, they followed the health of patients suffering from obesity and overweight. Volunteers participated in a special program for weight loss. The essence of the program was to reduce daily caloric intake to thirty percent. All study participants lost weight under medical supervision. Physicians also recorded the work of the sympathetic nervous system in patients.

The so-called sympathetic nervous system is responsible for many organs, activates the metabolism and "controls" the intake of calories by the body. After completing the program, scientists were surprised to find that those participants who managed to lose weight quickly, have high activity of the sympathetic system, even when resting or sleeping. To easily get rid of excess weight, the sympathetic system work should be increased. When the activity of the system slows down, full of people can not get rid of extra pounds.

According to Dr. Nora Strazhnitski who teaches in one of the centers meditsinkih Australia, a group of scientists managed to prove the relationship between obesity and sympathetic nervous system activity. According to the doctor, people with high activity of the system has all the chances to lose weight without dieting. Results of the study will begin to develop new ways to lose weight due to the activation of the sympathetic system.
